Easy Lace Cookies

Delicate, crisp lace cookies made with oats and almonds for a nutty, delicious cookie.

Whisk together rolled oats, sugar, flour, salt, and baking powder.

Separately, whisk an egg with melted butter, vanilla, and almond extract.

Stir the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Stir in sliced or slivered almonds.

Drop teaspoons of the batter on lined baking sheets 4 inches apart. Flatten the mounds of batter.

Bake for 13-15 minutes, until the bubbling stops and the edges are golden.

Cool on the baking sheet 5-7 minutes, then move to a wire rack to finish cooling.
